Where will the wedding be held?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Whitehall House & Gardens. The ceremony will take place outdoors in the Formal Garden, while the reception will be hosted in a tent on the Garden Terrace. Because fall weather in Kentucky can be quite unpredictable, we suggest checking the forecast prior to the day of the wedding so that you can dress accordingly!

What time should I arrive?

Music will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the ceremony starting promptly at 4:00 p.m. We recommend arriving at Whitehall 15-30 minutes early in order to allow yourself plenty of time to locate the venue, make your way your seat, and settle in before the ceremony begins.

How should I get there?

Parking is available onsite at Whitehall. When you arrive, please pull up to the front of the mansion so that the valet attendant can assist you with parking your vehicle. However, please note that leaving your vehicle overnight at the venue is NOT permitted. All vehicles must be off the premises by 11:00 p.m. Whitehall is also accessible by Uber and Lyft. As your safety is our greatest priority, these options are especially encouraged if you plan to enjoy the open bar.

What should I wear?

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! That being said, we are requesting your best fall formal attire for our wedding. This includes a suit and tie or long dress/jumpsuit. When choosing your clothing and shoes, please be sure to take into consideration that both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

While we would love to celebrate with absolutely everyone, we are only able to accommodate those guests named on your formal wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Can I bring my children?

Though we adore your children, our venue is unable to accommodate all of your little ones. Your formal invitation will indicate the individuals who are invited to our wedding. Those guests will also appear under your name when you RSVP. We encourage you to use this occasion as an opportunity to enjoy a night out with your significant other. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
