Our Wedding

Cooper and Allison met with the help of Bumble (dating app) in July of 2019. Despite having mutual friends and acquaintances throughout the years, they never crossed paths "in the wild." I (Allison) remember the first time we met on a pizza date. I immediately recognized that Cooper embellished the truth about his height as soon as I walked through the door. As a tall female, I had set my dating preferences on Bumble to filter out guys shorter than 6'3". Despite this minor issue, we found a table, sat down, and had a great time. I clearly remember the waitress brought him the wrong pizza, but he didn't say anything. He was polite and enjoyed his meal. One date soon turned into many! Cooper and I both competed in college sports. Cooper played golf at Nebraska Wesleyan at the same time I played volleyball at the University of Nebraska. We are active people and enjoy warm weather vacations. A few favorite adventures include floating on the Niobrara River, as well as beach vacations to Florida and Cabo San Lucas (palomas included)! We both share a love for working out, Husker sports, and golden retriever puppies. Almost exactly 4 years to the day we matched on Bumble, Cooper and I will be getting married! Not a day goes by that I'm not thankful that Cooper lied about his height.
