Antiques mall, distillery. Go a few miles further and turn right at the blinking light. Cross over the covered bridge and Simon Pearce restaurant and glass blowing factory is on the left. Watch the crafters at work.

Mon Vert Cafe for breakfast or lunch. The Village Butcher. Gillingham's for an upscale VT country store, The Vermont Flannel Company, Woody's for cool housewares, Sudie's for nice women's clothing. Drive back along River Road for a scenic view, cross the Taftsville covered bridge.
