Like many modern love stories, ours began with a simple swipe on Bumble — but what followed was anything but ordinary.From our very first conversation, there was a sense of ease, laughter, and something quietly electric between us. Our early dates took us to all kinds of local favorites — from charming cafes to city strolls — and a particularly memorable visit to the aviary, creating all of our precious first few memories together.It didn’t take long for us to realize that what we had was rare. Just a few months in, we moved in together — a leap that felt more like a natural next step than a risk. When you know, you know.Together, we’ve shared quiet evenings, big dreams, and spontaneous adventures — including a week-long escape to Washington, D.C., where we wandered beneath blooming cherry blossoms and imagined a life full of beauty, laughter, and love. Not long after, we welcomed Hank — our wild, loving, and completely chaotic puppy — into our lives, who quickly made our little family feel complete (and occasionally sleep-deprived).Then came a crisp, perfect day on the shores of Lake Erie. The sky stretched endlessly overhead, Alex asked Allison to marry him.That moment, like so many before it, felt like home.Now, we're here — filled with love, surrounded by the people who mean the world to us, and ready to begin this next chapter of our forever.
