Allison and Kody first met at a local bar while attending college in Duluth. From the very beginning, they were drawn to each other’s humor, kindness, and easygoing charm. Their first date was at a cozy restaurant in Duluth, and it was clear right away that spending time together felt natural and effortless. Within just a few weeks, it was obvious they didn’t want to spend their free days apart. They shared their first kiss on that very first date, and just a month later, Kody said “I love you” for the first time. After a year of dating, they moved in to their first house together, excited to build a life side by side. On their four-year anniversary, Kody proposed at Banning State Park, right by the St. Croix River on the Blueberry Slide Rapids Trail. The trail was alive with the hum of the river, and in that emotional moment, Kody asked Allison to marry him. They spent the rest of the weekend enjoying the secluded woods of Brook Park, Minnesota. Today, Allison and Kody both work from home—Allison as a medical scheduler and Kody as a civil engineer. They love spending time with their three cats, Pippa, Quigley, and Sasha. They enjoy spending quality time with friends and discovering new adventures together. Looking ahead, they are excited to grow their family, make some house upgrades, plan more trips, and explore new hobbies as they step into this next chapter of their lives.

Brandon and Kody have been friends since middle school; over the years Brandon’s quick wit and steady support have been constants in Kody’s life. Dependable, endlessly funny, and always ready to help—whether for a last-minute plan or a late-night talk—Brandon is truly ride-or-die.

Brandon

Carter and Kody have been best friends since kindergarten, growing up side-by-side through baseball games and karate classes. Their shared history is full of late night gaming sessions, friendly rivalries, and steady support—Carter’s loyalty and easygoing spirit have been constants in Kody’s life.

Carter

Raul and Kody have been friends since middle school, bonding over baseball and college adventures. Raul is the life of the party—especially on Apple River trips—bringing energy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Zach and Kody met in college and quickly became friends during their freshman year—Each as presidents of their respective fraternities were given the nickname “The Suite Life.” Their time together was full of campus leadership, late-night plans, and a reputation for getting things done.

Josh is Kody’s stepbrother and became close since their parents married in high school. Married to Amber (Allie’s bridesmaid), he is dependable, warm, and quietly supportive—always ready to lend a hand or a calm perspective when needed.

Kody is Kody’s stepbrother (don’t get it confused). Kody is funny, kind and adventurous. As a dedicated craftsman, he enjoys brewing his own ale and takes pride in his meticulous, hands-on approach.

Kassidy has been Allison’s best friend since they were 15 years old. They lived together for over 3 years after high school while living in Mankato. These two are most likely on a FaceTime call together or planning their next sleepover weekend.

Emma and Allison have known each other since the 8th grade. They have also been roommates while living in Mankato and going to school. They spent most of their time going on nature excursions, watching true crime documentaries, or enjoying their two-person book club.

Allie’s little sister is one of the most important people in her life. She is creative, hilarious, and feisty. The two have shared a very close bond for practically all their lives. They have gone on numerous adventures together and have an abundance of annoying inside jokes. 

Kassandra

Jade and Allie met while working the Allina clinic in Buffalo. They clicked very quickly and became besties in no time. If these two are together there is most likely a beer darts party and you’ll probably end up at the Ugly bar.

Amber is Allie’s gorgeous future sister in-law. Amber is married to Kody’s stepbrother Josh. Amber is funny, big hearted and is a teacher!

Katie is Kody’s fabulous step cousin! Katie has been an incredible help with wedding planning. She is always there if you need anything or just need really good advice.

Spencer is a close family friend who lives next door to Kody’s mother and stepfather. He and Kody share many late-night bonfires and neighborhood gatherings; Spencer’s steady presence, easygoing nature, and warm hospitality have made him a trusted companion to the family.

Blake is Allison’s youngest brother—funny, uniquely thoughtful, and sharp. A lover of music, he’s always listening to new sounds and making his own, bringing creativity and good humor to every room.

There will be a few shuttles running back and forth from the venue and hotel lots for the last two hours of our wedding night. Guests may leave their cars overnight and grab them the next morning if needed.

Sartell is close to St. Cloud and Waite Park which host an abundance of eateries in the area. Some favorites include Granite City, Boulder Tap House and Grizzly’s Wood-Fired Grill.

While you’re in the area, there are plenty of great spots to explore. Quarry Park and Nature Preserve offers beautiful scenery and miles of trails, perfect for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. If you’re in the mood for a refreshing local beer, stop by Beaver Island Brewing Company. Traveling with kids? The Great River Children’s Museum is a fun and engaging option for all ages.
