We are having multiple events to accommodate as many people as possible. This means we were unfortunately not able to invite everyone to every event, though you may see mentions of other events on the website. Your mailed invitation will list the event(s) you and your party are invited to, and you will also see this when you RSVP. If you are invited to multiple events, you can choose which you would like to attend and RSVP separately for each.

There is a Wisconsin Badger football game starting at 11am. Tailgating usually starts around 9am. Game traffic causes significant travel delays when navigating through Madison. Plan to go around the city if possible and leave plenty of time to get where you are going. Traffic will likely not be an issue for the picnic, but please be aware of this in the morning for the ceremony.

Dress for the wedding ceremony is wedding casual. Think sandals not heels and no suit jackets required. If the weather is nice, there are a lot of outdoor spaces and walking paths to explore. We will also take a full group photo outdoors. The celebratory picnic in the evening is casual. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. The picnic is outdoors in an open air shelter.

The picnic will take place at the Lakeview Park Outdoor Shelter, located at 6300 Mendota Ave, Middleton, WI. We want to celebrate with our community by enjoying good food, music, games, and a chance to connect. The picnic will take place in a park shelter near walking paths, a pond, and a playground. There is some parking available in the lot near the shelter as well as street parking. Join us from 5 to 9 in the evening! Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30.

For the wedding ceremony, please arrive by 10am. Please keep game day travel delays in mind. The ceremony will begin at 10:30am. For the casual picnic, you may arrive anytime between 5pm and 8:30pm. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30.

There will be a childcare room during the ceremony and brunch that parents can choose to use. We will have childcare helpers available. Parents are also welcome to stay with their children. No childcare will be provided during the casual picnic. It's a very child-friendly event.

Buildings, parking, and outdoor areas are all accessible for all events. If you have additional concerns, please contact us.

We will have gluten free, vegetarian and allergen-friendly options available. The brunch will have various options at the buffet. There will be a separate allergen-friendly table at the picnic. Also, we’ll have a separate cake free of gluten, dairy, soy, and nuts at both the brunch and picnic.

We will not be serving alcohol at the brunch. There will be wine and beer as well as non-alcoholic drinks served at the casual picnic in the evening. No glass is allowed at the park.

No, there won't be a shuttle to or from any of the locations. Please see the Travel & Transportation tab for transportation ideas.

During the wedding ceremony, minimal, unobtrusive guest photography is acceptable. Please be careful not to leave your seats, obstruct our professional photographer, or interrupt the events of the ceremony. During brunch, feel free to take photos, again being aware not to obstruct or delay the professional photographer. Photography is welcome at the casual picnic. At all events, please do not take photos of children without their parent's permission. You will have the opportunity to order photos from our professional photographer.

Yes, this is okay, but please keep other's privacy preferences in mind. Also, just as with taking photos, please get parent's permission before posting photos of children.
