Schedule

Like most modern love stories, Allison and Ryan's began on the internet. Swiping through, Allison saw Ryan and immediately swiped right because he was tall, cute and had a beard. They matched shortly after. On July 23, 2017, Allison and Ryan had their first date at Joe T. Garcias in the famous stockyards of Fort Worth, TX and have been together ever since. Over the past 5+ years Allison and Ryan have been to countless sporting events and concerts, taken many road trips and flights to visit family and friends, moved in together blending their fur fam (Thomas, Magnolia and Lebowski), broke into a wall of their rental house to save two baby kittens (Dash and Violet), survived a pandemic and fell a little more in love every day. After years of being pestered by Allison's Granny, Ryan proposed April 2, 2021 surrounded by family in Louisiana. Ryan and Allison are so excited for this next chapter in their love story and cannot wait to celebrate with you all!

Attractions

Once home to cowboys, cattlemen and outlaws, today the Stockyards National Historic District is one of the most popular attractions in Texas. Day and night, visitors come to the Stockyards to get a taste of the true American West.

Fort Worth Stockyards

World-class museums, vibrant nightlife, loads of family fun, sprawling trails, western heritage events and new happenings make the District an unparalleled entertainment destination. Crockett Row at West 7th is a vibrant destination to eat, drink, shop and explore in the heart of the Cultural District in Fort Worth.

Cultural District

Fort Worth’s city center buzzes day and night with people, energy and opportunity. It’s one of the most walkable urban areas you’ll find anywhere – the perfect place to soak up the excitement and friendly ambiance of Fort Worth. The heart of downtown is Sundance Square, a 35-square-block shopping and entertainment district where charming, beautifully restored buildings stand alongside glittering skyscrapers.

Places to Eat

You can't come to Fort Worth and not have BBQ! This is one of our favorite places to get BBQ. We take all of our out of town guests to Heim Barbecue. They have two amazing locations in Fort Worth to visit.

Heim Barbecue

This is where it all began! We had our first date here and holds a special place in our hearts. Joe T's is a Fort Worth staple and is located in the must see historic Stockyards. They have great Mexican food and even stronger margaritas! Cash only.
