Both the cermony and reception will be taking place at The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar (address on invitation).
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm with the cocktail hour to follow at 5 which will lead into the reception. Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive to the ceremony and find your seat.
Will The Ceremony and/or Reception Take Place Indoors or Outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn, while the reception will take place inside the Lodge. We understand that August is typically a very hot month, so bottles of water as well as fans will be at each seat during the ceremony itself. For those sensitive to the heat, we recommend you wait either in the Lodge or in your car until it is time to take your seat for the ceremony.
What Is The Dress Code?
Our dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We love a good reason to dress up for a date night and would love for you to treat our wedding as such, but we also want everyone to be comfortable! Keep in mind, the ceremony will take place outside in the grass, so ladies please plan your shoes accordingly as well. This goes without saying, but please do not decide to wear a white dress out of respect for our bride.
Can I Bring A Plus One?
Due to the limited amount of space within our venue, we can only allow the amount of people that have been designated on your invitation.
Are Children Allowed to Come?
With respect, due to the limited amount of seating available, we will not be allowing children outside of the ring bearers & flower girl to attend our big day. As much as we love your kiddos we also love the idea of you treating our evening as a "date night out" and hope you can understand and plan accordingly.
Do you have a Wedding Registry?
We sure do! We are registered through Amazon and the link can be found under the registry tab on this site.
You can also send a gift to our Venmo account for our future honeymoon for anyone who prefers a cash gift.
Will there be an open bar?
You betcha! The bar will serve 3 different types of beer, a variety of wines, as well as select liquors. There will also be soft drinks and water. Please know your limits and plan accordingly when it comes to traveling after the reception.
Is there a designated smoking area?
For those of you who smoke, please do so out in the parking lot out of respect for those who do not. Also please make extra sure to take care of anything needing disposed afterward.
