Meeting people these days is, as we all call, a nightmare. With COVID raging from 2020 to 2022, it became near impossible to date. Even so, there came a day in July of 2022 that Allison Received a message from a guy named Shelby. It was the cheesiest opening she had ever read, but it intrigued her. They got to talking about their favorite hobbies like D&D, reading, and playing video games. Soon enough they were talking all the time; from when he went to the card store to when she went to her weekly Saturday hangouts with her friends. It didn't seem to matter how busy they got; they always had time for each other. On August 6, 2022 Shelby came to visit Allison for a couple of days. That night they went to a place she loved to go called Tucker Flow and Play. They sat and watched fire spinners for hours, and when they got back to the hotel Shelby presented the most wonderful gift to Allison, a comfy (she wore it day in and day out through the entire winter and to this very day). They did many wonderful things on his trip there like go to Shogun, the mall, and the local card shop (where Shelby got his ass kicked), the day before he left, they were at waffle house, and Allison held up a picture that said "offering: girlfriend, requesting: boyfriend". they had a good laugh and Shelby accepted. Many things happened over the following months: Shelby started to grow out his hair, Allison cut hers off, Shelby moved up to Atlanta and started going by Alex, they had their first holidays together and decorated for Christmas, they went through good times, bad times, and hard times that they triumphed. After a year and 2 months together Alex popped the question on October 13, 2023, and Allison said yes.
