Sam and Allison’s love story began their freshman year at the University of Illinois. They both took Music 133 as an elective and Sam happened to sit next to Allison at the very first lecture. Luckily, they lived in dorms right next to each other which allowed a friendship to form through study dates and cafeteria food. Their first date was a beautiful meal of dorm food followed by a concert for Music 133. Other favorite college date spots included picnics on the Quad, barn dances, wing day at Brother's, Monday night Kam's, and Dunkin runs between class.

Fast forward to September 2023, Sam popped the question during a paint and sip date night. While Allison wasn't looking, he added an extra detail to his painting - "Will you marry me?".

Of course, she said yes!
