Sammy and Allison met in 2015 at The University of Waterloo, where they both attended school. They met within the first week of their first year at university. Sammy lived one floor below Allison in U Waterloo Place residence.

As fate would have it, Sammy and Allison had a couple of the same classes, where they would walk to and from together. This is where they found out they had a lot in common, like having an appreciation for the outdoors, their love for animals, and anime.

And the rest is history...

Sammy took Allison for a romantic weekend getaway to Ottawa, Ontario, for their seven year anniversary. Sammy proposed on the Alexandria Bridge lookout.
