Our Wedding

Matt and I met as I welcomed him into the front door of my parents house. We were getting ready to go to a mutual friends wedding and another one of our friends asked if she could bring Matt and his date to join my family. I didn’t think anything of Matt since he already had a date. Matt claims he was sitting on my couch trying to find me on Facebook. The little blue dress got him. We found ourselves back together at the bar during the reception. My mom had just kicked me off the dance floor and Matt’s not much of a dancer. We bonded over his date dancing with all the kids at the wedding. That’s when I found out she wasn’t really his type. Luckily for me I was. When the night was over Matt asked if he could have my phone number. I told him no, I had just started a new job and wasn’t ready to drag a new relationship into that mess. The next day though I regretted saying no. Good thing I’m a lot better at finding people on Facebook cause I added him right away. I guess you could say we were hooked after our first inside joke at that bar.
