Both Allison and Matt will tell you different stories of how they met. Allison claims it was at a pre-game Freshman year of college, while Matt says it was at an AFC Championship watch party Junior year. Regardless, they got to know each other as friends their Senior years of college. Allison graduated and moved to Seattle, while Matt moved to the DC area. It wasn't until a couple years later that they randomly reconnected at a mutual friends birthday party in DC, when Allison happened to be in town visiting friends. Fast forward two years when Matt moved out to Seattle and the rest is history!

It was a Saturday in April. Matt wanted to surprise Allison by recreating all their first dates together. He told her they were going to meet some friends to get her out of the house, as she was not feeling well. First, they went to Pike Place Brewery to grab a beer. Then they walked to Safeco Field to catch a Seattle Mariners' game. After the game, Matt and Allison went up to their favorite park and drank a few adult beverages where Matt got down on one knee and proposed...and she said YES!
