If you are coming from New York City:

NYC Airports (JFK, EWR, LGA) - You can take transportation from any of the three airports

● Option 1: Car Rental - Westbrook CT is ~2hrs away from each of these airports (EWR furthest) without traffic

● Option 2: Public Transportation - We recommend taking a train from Penn Station. Please see the possible ways to get there from the respective Airports:

○ JFK - Airtrain to Penn Station (~45mins)

○ LGA - Q70 Bus to E/7 Trains to Penn Station (~45mins)

○ EWR - AirTrain to Penn Station (~30-45mins)

● Option 3: Uber/Taxi to Penn Station

Trains from NYC Penn Station:

● Amtrak - Penn Station (NYP) to Old Saybrook (OSB), the commute is ~2hrs. From the Old Saybrook Station, it is a 10min Uber or drive to the Water’s Edge

● North East Regional Train to Old Saybrook (OSB), ~ 3hrs. This is a slower option but probably more cost-effective; please check train times to find what works best for you

Trains from NYC Grand Central Station: This route is slower, but just in case you find yourself at Grand Central:

● Metro North Train to New Haven (Red Line), then transfer at New Haven Station to the Shoreline East Train and get off at Westbrook CT station, this route is 3hrs+. From Westbrook Station, it is ~3min Uber or drive to Water’s Edge

If you are coming from Boston:

Boston Airport (BOS) -

● Option 1: Car Rental - Westbrook CT is ~2hrs away without traffic

● Option 2: Public Transportation - Take the Silver Line to South Station

● Option 3: Take Uber to South Station

Train from South Station:

● Amtrak - Boston Station (BOS) to Old Saybrook (OSB), the commute is ~2hrs. From the Old Saybrook Station, it is a 10min Uber or drive to the Water’s Edge

If you are coming from Connecticut Airports:

Bradley Airport (BDL) -

● Option 1: Rental Car (~45-60mins to Water’s Edge)

● Option 2: Uber or Taxi

New Haven Airport (HVN) -

● Option 1: Rental Car (~30mins to Water’s Edge)

● Option 2: Uber or Taxi to Waters Edge

● Option 3: Uber or Taxi to State Station (New Haven Train Station), ~12mins away. From there take the Shoreline Train to Westbrook CT, ~1hr on the train (3min Uber or Drive to Waters Edge), least recommended
