Our Wedding

Our story begins all the way back in February 2020 (right before the world as we knew it changed). Cody and Allison’s first date was at Allison's FAVORITE coffee shop in the Bryan-College Station area, The Village (which has sadly shut down). Here, Cody tricked her into paying for her coffee (which was a peppermint mocha), and they had a wonderful first date. Normal first date conversations like differential equations and astrophotography made time fly. The date was so wonderful, that Cody took the risk and asked Allison to be his Valentine on the spot and go stargazing on Lake Bryan on Valentine's Day. Despite Allison's roommates warning her that she might be murdered, she decided to go on the date! Cody and Allison had a lovely Valentine's Day stargazing and chatting on the lake. From there, Cody and Allison continued hanging out and going through the woes of Aggie engineering classes, when the Leap Day came around. It was that day that Cody officially asked Allison to be his girlfriend... on the day that only comes around every 4 years. When Allison asked him if he knew what day it was, he responded with "It's Saturday." From then on, Cody and Allison were inseparable. They got through Aggie biomedical and electrical engineering together, traveled and went on endless adventures, went through two long-distance summers together, and eventually, began post-graduate adult life together in the Houston area. Then came February 29, 2024, their technical FIRST anniversary. After a lovely dinner together at The Rouxpour to reflect on the last four years and how much their love for each other had grown, Cody brought Allison by the house they had just bought together. It was here where Allison was met with rose petals, a candle-lined hallway, and a heartwarming speech from Cody where at the end, he decided to pop the question. It was truly the most romantic proposal and a memory they will never forget. Since being engaged, Cody and Allison have moved into their first house together, gone on many adventures, hosted many parties, tried many of craft beers, adopted an orange tabby cat named O'Malley, and have loved every second of this season of life and can't wait to see what's in store for them in this next chapter!

Emma and I met through our Freshmen Leadership Org (FLO) at A&M, F.R.E.E. about 7 years ago. Neither of us can remember when we exactly became friends, but ever since then, we've been inseparable! I had the privilege to be Emma's roommate all through college and even in post-grad life in Houston. Emma is always there and always down for some kind of adventure. While I don't have a biological sister, I can say that that is what Emma is to me, a true sister. I truly do not know what I'd do without her and I am incredibly lucky to not only have her as my Maid of Honor, but as my best friend.

Leah and I met at Fish Camp in August 2018. Back then, we were two upcoming freshmen at A&M and were overwhelmed with all that entailed. We were in the same D.G. and were accepted into the same FLO at A&M... the universe was telling us we needed each other! Leah and I were roommates through college and then made the move from DFW to Houston together after graduation (or really after Leah decided to go get her Masters degree whoop whoop)! Leah has truly been by my side through it all and I am incredibly grateful to call her one of my very best friends.

Reese and I met through the hardships of A&M Biomedical Engineering. I can't remember when Reese entered into my life, but all I know is that once she did, she never left! We were the best of study partners, neighbors on Cooner Street, and have continued our friendship in post-grad life! No one can speak my language like Reese can, and I wouldn't have been able to get through school without her. She's since gone on to P.T. school so I'll have to start calling her Dr. Newton pretty soon. I am extremely proud of her and am lucky to call her my friend.

Jaycie is one of those friends that showed up at my doorstep one day and never left. I'm not entirely sure when Jaycie and I became friends, but all I know is that she started showing up to our family vacations and we had endless sleepovers and she was just always there. I am so lucky to call her one of my oldest and very best friends. Jaycie and I met through our high school basketball team (#12 and #23 forever!) and have continued our friendship throughout the hardships of navigating adulthood. I love her with my whole heart!

Christiana and I met at Fish Camp (Session C, Camp Carrasco) and she's never left my side since! I believe Christiana and I really became friends when she was looking for someone to pull tickets with for A&M's opening game our freshmen year. For those who haven't experienced ticket pull, it can be quite intimidating as a freshmen! After that, the rest is history! Through the late night study sessions to the movie nights to the road trips, Christiana has been there through it all! She is persistent and intentional and I'm so thankful Fish Camp brought us together. I love her and am so grateful to call her one of my best friends!

While we knew each other since we were kids from little league baseball, my friendship with Mason took off in our freshman year of high school. At that time, I had no idea that I would be fortunate enough to go to Texas A&M with him and share a dorm in our first year of college. Since then, Mason has truly been the most dependable person I know and has always been there to study, chat, and drink craft beer. I am honored to call Mason my best man.

My friendship with Aaron began when I moved across the street from him in elementary school. Since then we were nearly inseparable. From late nights studying physics, figuring out how to do a front flip on a trampoline, to smoking briskets, Aaron and I have put our brains together to solve more problems than I can count. Despite him being a Longhorn, I’m glad I can continue to discover new things with Aaron whenever we get together.

Since our friendship first grew in high school, Alec has always been the most studious person I know. It wasn’t uncommon for me to be texting him for help with homework that I was desperately trying to finish with enough time to sleep that night, while he had already gotten up that morning to get ready for school. Despite perfect grades and being able to go to any university he wanted, he made the first poorly informed decision of his life by going to UT.

I don’t remember when I became friends with Andrew, but I’m pretty sure it was back in little league baseball. I just remember him always being around. We were great friends throughout high school and we were known on the football team for working physics problems on the big whiteboard in the weight room before practice. I had the immense pleasure of living with Andrew during most of college. His unapologetic love for Aggie sports bled into the rest of us and truly made the college experience what it should be. Whenever I was bashing my head against the table trying to figure out differential equations, I would look over at Andrew drawing out organic chemistry formulas and think “Wow, I’m glad that’s not me”. Thanks for making me feel better, Andrew.

Andrew Morrison

For as long as I have known Jackson, he has always been a man of stupendous wit and the comedic timing of a master comedian. He can commit to a bit longer than most people can commit to a favorite color, and he never fails to drag humor by its metaphorical feet and throw it into any occasion. Jackson is the modern embodiment of Cyrano de Bergerac, and I look forward to many more years of ruthless debates and terrible, contrarian takes.

Ian is probably the most consistently happy person I know. Seeing him without a smile plastered to his face is like spotting bigfoot. Some of my favorite memories in college were walking to the nearby Taco Bell with Ian to feverishly discuss the most niche and ultimately meaningless topics as if the world depended on the outcome of our nerdy conversations. I am glad that tradition has never stopped (although we now go to classier establishments), and I will always have someone to debate with that C is the Lord’s programming language.
