Although they found each other later in life, it was always meant to be. Their paths crossed over the years, even when they were unaware. But on a warm day in October 2022, after Alli had minutes before told a friend she was craving sushi for dinner, a message from Chase came through inviting her out for sushi for their first date that night. It must have been fate.

While they tried to keep things quiet when they first started dating, the cat was let out of the bag within a couple months by some nosy football players. Living in a small town, being teachers, and coaches for the same district, word spread fast and they quickly had a fan club cheering them on from the sidelines. They have felt so much support since, from friends, family, and all of their students.

They have been able to squeeze so many adventures into the past couple years, such as traveling to Savannah, Georgia and San Diego, California for some fun in the sun. As well as traveling back home to Michigan to visit Chase's family. While they love to travel together, being home is their happy place, filled with backyard games, movie nights with the kids, and charcuterie boards and murder mystery games.

In June of 2024, Chase took Alli on a horseback ride into the mountains at Herriman State Park, and proposed with the Tetons showing off in the background. Which is one of the reasons why they chose to get married on the opposite side of the Tetons, at the Wedding Tree.
