Blake and I met thanks to our mutual friend, Trevor Bieker, back in December of 2018.

Technically, we had met and chatted prior a couple of times, but this was the first time the talking actually "stuck," and it was the official start to everything we are now.

We officially met via the internet, ha! We spent a couple of weeks talking, and met one another in person at a bowling alley called "Crummy's" in Wichita on New Years Day. I was nervous, and Blake was a little tipsy due to a few too many Coors Lights and a couple Jager shots (thanks Brock, ha!)

It was a fun night with Trevor and Brock, and we listened to an insane amount of Seal - that poor bartender. After driving the boys home, it was wild - but I knew he was it. It had only been a couple weeks of texting and a few phone calls, but as cliché as it sounds - when they say "when you know, you know" they aren't kidding. I drove off with a smile from ear to ear, and my heart felt a strange sense of safety and happiness. I had found my person, and thankfully he felt the same.

We were both pretty smitten, and in less than a month decided this was the real deal. We called it official in January, and life hasn't been the same since!

He puts up with me dragging him to concerts and big events, and he balances me out by taking me to a quiet lake to fish or a drive around small town USA (or God's Country as he calls it).

We started our story in Wichita and Council Grove, but after a year of long distance decided it was time to find a place closer to home and together. We found ourselves in Phillipsburg, and have now also bought our first home.

I love to cheer him on from the sidelines when he is coaching, and he has encouraged me every step of the way - whether I was working on completing my masters or starting a business. I keep us moving, but he reminds me to slow down and take it all in.

In June 2024, it will be 5.5 years that we have been together, and while we have created so many memories and shared so much love - we are both so excited to see where our story goes next!

We cannot wait to have you all join us and help us create one of the most important memories of our lives!
