If you love to shop local, find a great antique and appreciate excellent baked goods, be sure to spend some time in Kalona! The Vintage Society (formerly the Pink Begonia) is one of Ally's favorite antique spots in the area. Kalona is known for their Amish goods and products - grabbing some sweets from Golden Delight Bakery or a frozen treat from Kalona Creamery is a MUST when in the area.

The Kewash Nature Trail is a 14 mile former railroad right of way that connects the towns of Washington and Keota. The trail has a crushed limestone surface and is open to hikers, bicyclists, and cross-country skiers from 4:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Parking, restrooms, and water are also available midway along the trail in the town of West Chester and at the trail's west end in Keota.
