We are so blessed to have you in our lives and we want to thank you all for influencing who we have become. First and foremost, we want to give glory to God for putting us in His plans and purposes and we intend to glorify Him in this union. Secondly, thank you for the love you have shown us and the memories we have made. At the day of the wedding we will have been dating for 5 years exactly, and they have been a blessed and fruitful five years. We met in high school and began building a friendly relationship our junior year. I knew her through my sister, Kerani, because they were both on the swim team. It began when I went up to Ally and simply began to speak pleasantries with her, such as how her summer went and what she did for fun. She was a very meek and timid girl, but she opened little by little and I became infatuated with who I was discovering in our conversations. She was humble, kind, empathetic, bright, subtle and another level of sweet. I could no longer deny that I wanted to explore a romantic relationship with her. I began to think of her, wonder who she was, what her thoughts were, where she came from, I wanted to know Ally Evans. I professed my interest in her on a Friday as she was leaving the school building, and I was nervous. I completely expected to be shot down like a puddle jumper flying over heavy anti-aircraft artillery, however, to my utter surprise, she proclaimed that she was also interested in me. I asked her on a date and the rest is history. Our relationship has not always been sunshine and rainbows, but has always produced greatness and growth in one another. We are so incredibly blessed to have each other and we will cherish every moment that the Lord allows us. We thank you all for sacrificing your time and energy to get to know us. God bless us all.
