The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentleman should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
In most years, Phoenix averages a daily maximum temperature for September that’s between 98° and 102°. The minimum temperature usually falls between 74° and 77°.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
The ceremony will be at Secret Garden by Wedgewood Weddings. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow at the same location.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will be outside as well as cocktail hour. The reception will be hosted inside, following cocktail hour.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight into cocktail hour where we will have hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
Where should I park? Is parking free?
There is free parking available on the venue property.
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event, with the exception of children over the age of 10. This is to ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your children at home so you can celebrate with us.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay in budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed in your invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Due to many people having different tastes, budgets and preferences we have decided not to do a hotel block. However, listed on this website are quite a few hotel options with different price ranges that are within 6 or less miles from the wedding venue.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
September 1st is the RSVP deadline. This would need to be completed online.
