Zach and Ally connected through a dating site. From there they texted for a few weeks before they actually met, being as they lived an hour and half away from each other, they both worked full time and Ally was still in college.


Zach and Ally's first date was a Parker McCollum concert at the Ozark Fair Ground with Ally's friends, from that day on the two didn't spend more than a day at a time away from each other.

Zach's mom and step dad came down to Ally and Zach's house Memorial Day weekend in 2023, between the chaos of having both families meet for the first time, Zach was planning on proposing to Ally since his mom was here and he wanted her to be apart of it.


Saturday May 25, 2023 they all packed up and went and spent the day in Lake of the Ozarks bar hopping. Zach knew he was going to purpose this day so he made sure Ally drove so she stayed sober for it. As the day passed they had plans to have dinner at Ally's mom and step dads house. They didn't leave Lake of the Ozarks soon enough so Ally started stressing about being late because her mom was texting her asking what time they would be there because they knew what was coming that evening. They all get back to Bolivar and Ally hurries and grabs the things she needs to take to her moms for dinner and they were on there way to her moms house. In the midst of this Sami (Ally and Zach's friend) was trying to figure out what time she needed to be at Ally's mom to hide and video the proposal.


They all get to Ally's moms house and go upstairs to the bar and mingle for a little while. After a little while Ally's step dad and Zach go outside to start grilling and getting dinner ready. Once it was ready they called everyone downstairs to eat. At this time while they were grilling they were also setting up the front porch for the proposal. Ally finally comes downstairs and her moms job was to get Ally to go outside where Zach would be waiting for her. Ally's mom forgot what she was supposed to say and started asking where Zach was and telling her to go look for Zach. Zach's mom and step dad had no idea what was about to happen and his step dad opens the front door to look for Zach and Ally's step dad pulls him away. At this point Zach is standing on the porch and sees the door open expecting it to be Ally walking out and the door just slams shut, as you can tell her got real nervous then! Ally finally comes outside and sees Zach standing there with flowers and froze in her tracks. She finally then walks to Zach and he proposed!
