Q + A

Buckle up kids, this is a long one. If any of your questions aren't addressed below, please feel free to reach out to the maid of honor: Kyla Hatfield.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than April 8th, 2025.

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests that aren't listed on the invitation. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Do you have a registry?

We know we are asking a lot by having you come all the way to Colorado for us, so we do not have a registry. You being there is the best gift we could receive!

Do I need to pay a fee to enter Rocky Mountain National Park?

Yes. Each vehicle must pay an entrance fee to the park. We have a limit of 10 vehicles that can enter the park for the ceremony, so please plan to carpool! Information on park fees can be found here: https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/fees.htm

Do I need a timed entry permit for Rocky Mountain National Park?

To enter the park for the ceremony you will need a copy of our wedding permit (we will hand these out at the welcome dinner or I can email it to you), but you do not need to reserve a timed entry permit. If you plan to visit the park any other time you will need a timed entry permit.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor amphitheater; we recommend flat-soled shoes or block heels for the terrain. The reception will be held indoors.

What colors should I avoid?

Please avoid wearing any shade of green.

Is this going to be an unplugged ceremony?

We are so excited that you'll be joining us, and we want you to relax and be fully present for our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure to share those photos! With this in mind, we ask that you refrain from photos during the ceremony; for the reception? Go wild!

Will I have cell-phone reception in Rocky Mountain National Park?

You will not have service in most of the national park, we recommend planning ahead with family so you are not caught off guard without service.

Will you be able to accommodate any dietary restrictions?

We know that we have some vegetarians in the family, so we already have vegetarian meals planned! If you have any additional dietary restrictions please let us know ASAP.

Is there an open bar at the reception?

Yes, please drink responsibly!

Can I get piss drunk and pass out at the bar?

We would prefer if you didn't! We appreciate your consideration in advance.
