Luke and Ally's story begins far before a first date. They first met in Kindergarten where they grew up together in Tully, New York. They even dated in 6th grade and now look back fondly on how they were once so shy together, always sweating when holding hands. Believe it or not, the romance of two 12-year-olds was very short-lived, but Luke and Ally remained amazing friends throughout high school and could always count on one another for a good laugh. However, they never re-kindled their 6th-grade flame. Throughout the years they even would ask one another for relationship advice and knew they could rely on the other person for kind words and support.

It wasn't until their senior year of college that Luke and Ally realized they might have stronger feelings for one another beyond friendship. Luke decided to try to break out of the "friend zone" and ask Ally out on a date. As they began spending more time together, they quickly realized that they had something truly special.

Since they started dating, Luke and Ally have gone through many adventures together, moving to different states, starting careers, and ultimately settling together in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina. On December 16th, 2023 Luke finally (Ally's words) got on one knee and asked his best friend to marry him. They are incredibly excited to go on a lifetime of adventures together and to celebrate their love with friends and family next December!
