The story of Austin and Ally begins back in 2018. The two met through mutual friends when Ally began attending Vista Church. April of that year, Austin took Ally out to Freddy's (her favorite), and they saw A Quiet Place at the local movie theater. It didn't take long for the two to fall for each other, and before they knew it, they were standing among flowers at an arboretum when Austin asks Ally to be his girlfriend. She said yes!

Their love grew as the two spent the summer together, spending as much time with each other as possible before Austin left for college at East Texas Baptist University in the fall (great timing, right?). Thus began their long distance relationship. Over the next 2 years, Austin came home to support Ally at her basketball games, Ally visited Austin for family weekends, and they cherished every Christmas and summer break when they got to be together for longer than a weekend.

Soon came the time for Ally to choose a college, and when she was accepted into the nursing program at the University of Texas, the answer seemed clear. As hard as it was to imagine being almost six hours apart, Austin supported her, and they were determined to make it work as she left for Austin TX fall 2020. This next part we call the "lost years." The two heartbreakingly break up in January 2021 and spend the next two years apart. However, the couple was able to grow outside of each other, and their individual growth deepened their connection when they found each other again.

The spark that had ignited between them in their youth still burned brightly, and it didn't take long for them to realize that their love had never truly faded. With newfound clarity and determination, Austin and Ally decided to give their love a second chance in the ending months of 2022. They navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship with patience, understanding, and unwavering commitment, as Ally continued nursing school in Austin and Austin worked a job back home. Their bond only grew stronger.

April of 2024, after Ally had moved back home for her capstone, Austin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. They cried as she said yes, knowing in their hearts that their love was once-in-a-lifetime. And so, Austin and Ally, high school sweethearts turned soulmates, embark on the greatest adventure of all - a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless possibilities. And as they stood hand in hand, they knew that their love story was far from over. It was only just beginning.

We are so excited for this next chapter of our life and can't wait to celebrate with our closest friends and family. We thank God for bringing us together, and we can't wait to see how He uses our marriage for the glory of His kingdom!
