Our love story began with a simple message on a dating app little did we know it would turn into our happily ever after. Nic's bio read "Let me take you on a real date starting with a walk on the pier, a visit to the art museum, dinner, and ice cream". The first message we shared was me asking when he was going to take me on this real date and within the next week we were on this date almost exactly word for word as he described.

Nic planned an elaborate anniversary surprise with a scavenger hunt. Each clue lead me to a previous date spot. From our first date on the pier to my parents front porch and every date in between. The last clue lead us to Devils lake state park where we hiked the trails and Nic proposed as we made our way to the top.
