Jakeb and Ally have two german short hair pointers together, Paulk and Timber. Timber was a gift from Jakeb for Ally's 21st birthday. Jakeb made a sign that said “Mom, will you marry Dad?” and hung it around Timbers neck. When Timber ran up to Ally, she saw the sign and when she turned around Jakeb was on one knee and asked her to marry him. The ring was a very special one that Jakeb had made using the diamonds from his grandmother’s ring and Ally’s grandmother’s ring, both of whom are no longer with them.
