Kade and Ally met on May 13, 2022, while Kade was working at Rocky Mountain Discount Sports here in Gillette. Within ten days they were officially dating!

•The Story Goes…. (Told from Ally’s Perspective)•

The day we met, I simply went in to Rocky Mountain Discount Sports to get my new arrows set up, and shoot my bow. Behind the counter was a sweet Kade working on other arrow’s. I walked up to the counter and waited to tell him what I needed. I stood there for about three minutes before this boy decided to ask if he could help me with anything. Mind you, there were no other customers at the counter at the time. During that three minutes of waiting he looked up at me and went back to his work about 8 times, before realizing I could be in need of help.

After setting up my arrows I was ready to shoot my bow, but Kade thought I may need some help shooting them, though I had already expressed how great of a shooter I am. Regardless, I could not convince him, and so… he followed me downstairs because he needed to “make sure the arrows were flying straight” *eye rolllll*. After about two hours of shooting, and Kade’s poor attempt at being subtle, he asked if he could get my number! Nervously, I responded with “Perhaps.” (Who says that??). I gave him my number, and immediately had to go home and tell my parents that I had met a boy, and so together my mom and I waited for a text from him. Waited. Waited. Waited. And then FINALLY, he texts me. Do you want to know his very first text to me? A YouTube video link on “how to not torque your bow.” Apparently it’s the best flirting I’ve ever heard, because now two and a half year’s after we started dating, as of January 1st, 2025, we are ENGAGED!!!!!
