Connor and Ally met during May 2020 while home from college for the summer. The two spent their first date paddleboarding out on the lake at sunset that lasted well until after it got dark. When Ally got home, her mom asked her how her date went, and when she saw the huge smile on Ally’s face she said, “oh boy, we’re in trouble aren’t we?”. The rest is history!

Connor and Ally returned to Ohio State that fall and had two wonderful years of school together. They lived four houses apart off of campus and saw each other every single day, whether it was study dates, making dinner together, or movie nights with their roommates.

When Ally was accepted into PA school at Mount Union in 2022, the two had to navigate their relationship at a distance. Luckily, no matter what the two had going on each week, Connor made the trip to Alliance almost every Sunday so that they could see each other. It was the highlight of both of their weeks.

After getting engaged in December 2023, Ally began to look for jobs in Columbus so that she could be closer to Connor at Ohio State, where he is finishing his Masters of Anatomy. Finally, after two years of distance, Connor and Ally were able to get their first apartment together. Their favorite part about living together is their lazy Sundays, where they love to get Chinese takeout, watch a movie, and snuggle on the couch with their sweet puppy Goose!

They are most excited to continue to make memories together, like traveling the world, finding the best sushi spots around, and endless lazy Sundays!
