John and Ally met at Grace Church Salado the summer of 2023. Ruth, John's sister, and Ashleigh, Ally's sister, lived in a house together during college! (Ruth and Ashleigh claim they planned this all along!)

John and Ally spent some time with their mutual friends the rest of summer 2023, and John asked Ally on their first date on June 23rd and officially asked Ally to be his girlfriend on July 10th.

As John and Ally kept getting to know each other, the Lord showed them so much about following His Will for you life and trusting that He has a plan. About 6 month into dating, Ally and John were pretty confident that they wanted to get married. They spent so many days with friends, family, and just growing together and getting to know each other more and more. The Lord was so evidently at work for the whole 505 days/72 weeks/16.5 months of dating!

After tons of prayer, conversations with wise counsel, and asking permission from Ally's parents, John asked Ally to be his wife on November 26, 2024! Now we are HERE and John and Ally are so SO excited to get to celebrate the best day ever with every one of you!!
