In mid August 2023 an instagram account called Single Christian Girl Memes had an online matchmaking event. I thought to myself, Why not take a look for at least a laugh? Then came across Johns bio, but saw he was in Florida so I skipped it. A little voice (Holy Spirit) nudged me to go back because, What do you have to lose? We started talking and found we didn’t wanna stop talking. I was really liking this guy and it was scary but I just wanted to know what could be. What has come out of this is truly amazing. I have never met a man who has loved me so well. From the very beginning has led me to Jesus. Taken care of my heart. Shown me how I deserve to be treated. We laugh together. We take care of each other. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with John.

In August of last year I got to meet Allysa during a match making event online. I didn’t really believe you could find the love of your life online, but with each day Allysa and I talked we grew closer and closer. We shared the same dreams and love for Christ. We prioritized family and ministry and she was clever and funny. I fell for her more and more. The 1100 miles between us was something I knew could break us apart but we braved through it and when we met and felt like we knew each other for ages. Almost a dozen plane rides later, I am so happy we get to spend the rest of our lives together.
