Anyone who knows the bride or groom would know that a large part of their lives includes the Polaris Battalion, also known as Sea Cadets, an organization that specializes in teaching young kids about all things Navy. This organization is what introduced the bride and groom to each other, but it would be a while before they would take an interest in one another...

Fast forward to those strange months of COVID. An innocuous comment on a Facebook post about sunrises... and the rest is history. In their "get to know you" stage, they learned a lot about each other and found many common interests including swing dancing, roller skating, LEGOs, traveling, AIRSOFT, and enjoying Historical Reenactment events about WWII.

In between all of their LEGO building nights, roller skating dates, and becoming instructors of the organization that introduced them to each other, their love for each other grew. So much so that on their trip to Pennsylvania this last June, to attend a WWII event, Joshua got down on one knee and asked Allyson to marry him. Now it may not have looked exactly like Joshua would have wanted, but regardless it was a beautiful moment shared between the two of them.

We can't wait to celebrate with everyone on their big day!
