November 2020 started it all when Konnor asked me to dinner. I promptly spit a chip in his face from laughing, but he stuck around—and after a second date we discovered we shared a bunch of mutual friends and, hilariously, that both our moms owned daycares. By December 2020 Konnor asked me to be his girlfriend.Since then we’ve weathered job changes, moves, and big milestones—Ally finishing nursing school and starting her career among them—and somehow kept growing closer. In January 2024 we welcomed our sweet dog Gracie, and in February we learned we were expecting a little boy. Our son, Cayson James, arrived on September 20, 2024 and filled our lives with the most wonderful, chaotic love. Cayson has faced several medical challenges already, and caring for him has tested us in ways that only pulled us tighter as a family.On November 2, 2024, surrounded by our closest friends, Konnor asked me to marry him—and I said yes. We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding on April 25, 2026 in La Cygne, KS and are so grateful to have each of you with us as we take this next step toward forever.
