On November 23rd, 2024 Peyton and Ally met on Hinge. (Ally had liked his profile). At the time, Peyton wasn't looking for a girlfriend, but that quickly changed when he met Ally. They texted back and forth for about a week before they decided to meet halfway between their hometowns of Morganton, NC and Bristol, TN. They met in Asheville, NC, where they had their first date. This involved shopping at the outlets and a tour at the Biltmore house. You can ask either Peyton or Ally and they will both tell you after that date, they both knew there was something special between them. After that, they both agreed that they wanted to do everything in their power to make it work, so that's what they did.

For 4 and a half months, they did long distance, and they took turns making the 2 hour drive every weekend. Then, Peyton decided to make the move to Bristol, TN so he could be closer to Ally. He stayed there for 5 months and in September, circumstances involving his job made him move back to Morganton. That didn't matter to either of them because they knew they were strong enough to make the long distance work, so they did.

On October 11th, 2025, Peyton and Ally took a trip to the coast of North Carolina, at his parent's beach house. In the living room, Peyton got down on one knee and asked Ally to be his forever. Ally and Peyton can't wait for their big day and look forward to spending forever together!
