The Shore Plaza Beach Resort is located directly on the Wildwood boardwalk and directly across from the beach. Bobby and I stayed there for the first time during the summer of 2023 and absolutely fell in love with the place. It's also located above Sam's Pizza Palace, which has always been mine and now Bobby's favorite place to get pizza in the Wildwoods. The staff is so welcoming and has 24-hour security. All rooms have queen sized beds and are very clean. Despite being on the boardwalk, the noise is non-existent. It also has a rooftop pool and small jacuzzi within the pool. This option is for those who chose not to stay at the Grand, The hotel does not have an online booking option, and requires those looking to stay to call and book their rooms. Rates are $220.00 per night, and booking opens up in January. The Shore Plaza is about a 20 minute drive to the Grand Hotel of Cape May.

For those looking for a chain hotel, The Days Inn would be our recommendation. It's only a 20 minute drive as well and is located in the heart of Wildwood. Like the Shore Plaza, it's located near the beach and boardwalk. While I've never stayed here please feel free to reach out about this or any other options in the Wildwood area you may come across!

We have heard wonderful things about the ICONA in Cape May and in Wildwood. This location is about a minute walk away from the Grand. Rooms feature refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Rooms have private balconies or patios. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.
