Yes, that’s right folks, the rumors are true… I (Allyson) made the first move in this relationship. . But hey, I think it worked out in my favor. Brent and I met long ago at the ripe young age of 13 and 15. When puberty had barely hit, pimples were flying and in my case, braces were still on. I was the little sister who got dragged around to every baseball game. Also, yes, little sister. As many of you know Brent was and is best friends with my big brother Scott. At the time, there were not crazy sparks, just simply a small unspoken crush on both sides. It wasn’t until Brent moved back from college approximately 10 years later that we realized our small crushes might not have ever gone away. I waited for what felt like forever for Brent to make the first move but it was obvious that was not going to happen. Therefore, I made my own move and here we are, five and a half years later getting ready to make this a forever kind of thing.

Meet Joce, my Hawaii loving bestie who turned into the sister I never had. We met in 6th grade, realized we were basically the same person just in a different font and never turned back.

Meet Ky, we went to high school together but realized we were compatible to be long-time besties after bonding at a country concert a couple years after graduating. If you see anyone bickering like sisters.. it’s us.. don’t worry, we love each other.

Meet Brian, we met just before we were born, had to share a womb and a room growing up. Think he stole food off my plate growing up so I’ve always had to look up.

Meet Britt, we met freshman year of high school and have been besties ever since. The kind of friend where you can pick up whenever you left off, you can find us at our long-standing sushi date every month.

Meet Scott, we met in high school baseball, he made me chase the ball like I was a dog. I decided to fall for his baby sis and live happily ever after all.

Meet Makaela, my brother’s girlfriend turned major bestie. This is who I call when I want to be convinced to buy something, need help throwing a party or to laugh until I cry.. but mostly to buy something.

Meet Mitch, we met playing little league baseball when we were 10. Our families became close as we played travel ball together and once I moved back home from college we’ve been best of buds since.

Meet Heather, Brent’s big sister, AKA future sister-in-law and bestie. Heather is the biggest yes girl, always down for something fun, something tasty or something crafty.

Meet Brett, we met freshman year of college in our fraternity. Lived together sophomore and junior year in San Diego before decided to study abroad in Germany together. We had some good times (stories will not be shared) and yes..he is tall.

Meet McKenna, we’ve done it all together, from country concerts to boat days to family dinners…bestie first and now soon to be sister-in-law!!

Meet Lukas, we went to high school but became really close in college. We lived together sophomore and junior year, along with tall Brett.
