Enjoy a walk along our beautiful beach, stroll the boardwalk, then head downtown to Third Ave – home to our favorite chocolate shops (Third Avenue Chocolate and Jean Louise), the best coffee in town at Driftwood, pop into our favorite bookstore (Thunder Road Books), or shop unique coastal art and décor ( Kate & Company, Terra, Artisan Spirit). If you’re feeling peckish, stop in at Spring Lake Seafood for a lobster roll or Ahi Tuna “pizza”. And don’t forget to walk the lake in the center of town, say hello to the swans and ducks, and enjoy the views from one of the two foot bridges!
Asbury Park – home to the famous Stone Pony, Convention Hall and Paramount Theater. Take a walk along Asbury’s legendary boardwalk and be sure to stop by the carousel. A foodie and music mecca, Asbury is home to great breweries, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Check out a few of our favorite spots - Johnny Mac's for a pint & a free pizza, Taka for sushi & sake, or Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten for traditional German fare!
Step back in time and visit quaint Ocean Grove, home to the Camp Meeting Grounds, famous tent city (summers only), The Great Auditorium, historic Victorian homes, art galleries and antique shops and, of course, the beach! Stop by Days Ice Cream Shop and enjoy their homemade fare in an old-time ice cream parlor. If you have the time, stop into the Historic Society to learn more about the history of Ocean Grove.
Pier Village has more than 30 boutiques, restaurants, year-round events plus spectacular ocean front residences and boardwalk. A great spot for a walk along the beach or a stroll down the boardwalk. Grab a coffee to go or enjoy an afternoon ice cream or a sweet treat while enjoying the ocean breezes!
