Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a compact city on the Miljacka River, surrounded by the Dinaric Alps. Its center has museums commemorating local history, including Sarajevo 1878–1918, which covers the 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, an event that sparked World War I.

Sarajevo Baščaršija is Sarajevo's old bazaar and the historical and cultural center of the city. Baščaršija was built in the 15th century when Isa-Beg Ishaković founded the city.

Neum, a town with Bosnia's only access to the Adriatic Sea, contains Neum beach. Fun fact: this is the beach Harun proposed! You can find many rental properties located in town and on the beach.

The Stari Grad Castle (old town castle), is a medieval town-fortress complex in the center of Travnik. You have the opportunity to go inside and enjoy the beautiful views. Additionally, nearby is filled with various shops, restaurants, and so much more!

Sarajevo is the capitol of Bosnia. Here you will find many historical monuments, museums, shopping centers, restaurants, and so much more. We recommend checking out the Trebević (ski lift) which takes you up to the mountains. This is where the Olympics were held in 1984.
