Our story began in high school in Zimbabwe, where we met and quickly became inseparable. Life then took us on different paths—one to medical school in London and the other to college in California—starting a seven-year journey of long distance, late night calls, and countless time zones. Now, after years of dreaming of this day, we are finally starting our forever together, side by side."

What to Wear

Our wedding is a formal event, and we’d love for our guests to dress accordingly. However, since we’ll be celebrating at the coast in warm and humid weather, we also want everyone to feel comfortable. Lightweight fabrics, breathable materials, and beach-friendly formalwear are encouraged—think elegant yet practical. Ladies, flowy dresses are perfect, and gentlemen, linen or light dress shirts with tailored trousers are great options. Most importantly, we want you to enjoy the day with us comfortably!

What NOT to Wear

We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white or blue, as these are the colours of our wedding decor. Thank you for helping us create the perfect look for our special day

Shoes

For our female guests wondering about footwear, we recommend flats or block heels for comfort. The festivities will begin on a clifftop with paved stairs and lawn, before moving down to the beach, where the sand is compacted and firm. While you’re welcome to wear heels if you wish, we kindly ask that you avoid stilettos, as they may be tricky on the terrain.

All visitors, regardless of nationality, will requite an ETA (electronic travel authorisation) to travel to Kenya. We recommend applying for this no less than 2 weeks before your planned travel to allow adequate time for processing. We really appreciate that you'd like to give us a gift!

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to honour us with a gift, a cash gift would be very welcome. At the moment, our lives are spread across Zimbabwe, England, and California. This means it will be really difficult to transport and keep your lovely gifts with us all the time. For this reason, we're implementing a "no boxed gifts" policy.
