How It All Began Every love story has a beginning, and ours started with a 4am text from NYC to the Bay Area. And what she thought would be a possible client from the picture of him & his father turned into something different. After a month of texting & phone calls, we finally met in person and there was an instant spark that shot through our handshake as we said hello & hugged each other for the first time. The Journey What started as a friendship conversation quickly turned into something deeper. From March 21st, 2017 late night talks, spontaneous investment trips, or shared milestones, we’ve built a relationship filled with laughter, love, and countless unforgettable moments. Through life’s ups and downs, we’ve grown together, always supporting, always inspiring, and always making each other laugh. From movie nights to outings to the simple joys of everyday life to focusing on rebuilding a stronger relationship with God, we knew we had found something truly special. The Proposal On the morning of Thursday Jan 6th , 2025, he finally decided to put a ring on it. He first asked if I was ready for my next Christmas gift. In response to yes, he handed me a memory sticks. In shock, I looked at it as he asks can you share it with me? I looked at him as all thoughts were going through my head & responded sure. He then hands me a small closed ring box saying, “here’s your real gift!” It was the most weird proposal ever. I opened and saw that it was a beautiful ring & I said WOW! This is nice as I wait for him to ask me the Question but nothing until he says, I asked you months prior to the beginning of our relationship but now you get your ring. “Will you marry Me?” As I get excited with a soft response, YES!” Then he says, “You will soon be Mrs. Richardson!” The Next Chapter Now, here we are, ready to take the next step in our adventure—saying “I do” and celebrating our love with the people who mean the most to us. We can’t wait to share this special day with all of you and create even more beautiful memories together!

A cousin to the Bride and constant encourager. Since losing my dad, she’s always checked in and somehow knows just when I need a kind word. She’s the kind of woman every woman needs, and I’m so blessed to have her by my side.

Cousin to the groom and a true friend to the bride, she’s the life of the party and always down for an adventure. You can count on her to show up, turn up, and explore anything without hesitation. We’re so lucky to have her energy and love on this journey with us!

Cousin-in-law to the groom and an amazing friend and helper to the bride, she’s the kind of woman who shows up with a smile and jumps in wherever needed especially when Mom of the Groom needs an extra hand! Always ready to go with the flow and light up the room, she’s truly the kind of woman every occasion needs.

Cousin-in-law to the groom and a true friend to the bride, she’s our go-to fitness queen. If you’re trying to drop inches, she’s your girl! More than that, she’s a listening ear to both of us and always just a call away with the best advice. Strong, supportive, and full of heart — we’re blessed to have her on our team. 💪🏽

Erzsebet Robinson (Lizzie)

She’s one of the bride’s closest friends — better known as “Aunty,” but don’t let that fool you… she insists on being called sister because she swears she’s not old enough for that title! 😄 A true ride or die, she’s always gone with the flow and lit up every party heads turning wherever she went. Growing up, she had all the attention, and the bride loved every minute of it. Her heart, humor, and energy make her unforgettable. 

Louena Taufa Vaka

The bride’s true friend and life coach, always down to ride and ready to get down with the get down! She has a big heart, a helping spirit, and a gift for keeping people grounded. One of the best prayer warriors you’ll ever meet and the type who’d give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. She’s a real one, through and through. 

Marie Faleafine Ale

First cousin to the groom and your go-to for travel tips, fine dining and all things fabulous. She’s kind, adventurous and always ready to help. And yes — if you know a good man with his life together, send him her way! 😉

Sandy Griffin

Aunty to the bride and co-host of our special day — get ready to laugh, because her comedy skills will have you on the floor! She’s a woman of integrity with a heart of gold. One of the bride’s first hangout buddies when she moved to America, and while she jokes about everything, nothing is more serious to her than seeing someone she loves in pain.

Siosilini Taufa Fifita

Cousin and close friend to the groom. He is not just family but a true brother in every way. He’s the one I’ve shared life lessons with, the guy I can count on for anything, and always down for whatever… including a little trouble here and there. 💯

Riccardo Robinson (Ricky)

Cousin to the groom and a true sneakerhead to the core — if it’s about kicks, he’s your guy. A big kid at heart but a solid man all around. He’s a family man, always has his life together, and the one everyone calls for anything from handy work to good times. A jack of all trades and the kind of guy whose name alone brings the family together. Grateful to have him standing with me on this special day. 

Arthur Griffin

Cousin and longtime friend to the groom — from giving me a place to stay when I was a teen in trouble, to offering solid advice about running a truck business, to unforgettable nights out. Now, he’s standing beside me on one of the most important days of my life. He’ll always be one of my go-to guys. 💯

HotRod Odom

A true friend and my go-to garage guy. He’s the kind of friend every man needs on his team. I had the honor of standing next to him on one of his big days, and now he’s standing by me on mine. No matter what, we’ve always had each other’s backs and always will. 

Shalaman Rogers

A solid buddy and the best partner-in-crime — the kind you can trust to get you home safe, no matter how wild the night gets. He’s also the CEO of Progressive Parenting — just when you think you’ve got it figured out, he drops gems that change everything. Always there to help me cut out the unnecessary and focus on what matters. A real one, through and through.

Cousin-in-law and true friend to the groom. Your go-to guy for anything real estate! Whether you’re house hunting or just need a good laugh, he’s the one to call. Reliable, down-to-earth, and always ready to lighten the mood.

Nephew of the bride and our stylish little gentleman! At just 5 years old, he’s full of personality, wit and charm with a smart-aleck streak that’ll have you laughing while handing over whatever he asks for. Intelligent, full of style and impossible not to love. 

Omari Francis

Nephew of the bride and a sweet soul with a grandmother’s heart. At 12 year old, he’s intelligent, observant, and carries a calm, quiet strength. He may be shy, but he’s full of personality and always honest especially when something isn’t right. A gentle spirit and a true blessing to have by our side.

Niece of the bride and the fearless leader of our flower girls! At just 9 years old, she’s full of love, personality, and strength. She proudly carries her aunty’s strong German side -  bold, confident and never afraid to speak up when something isn’t right. A little powerhouse with a heart of gold! 🌸

Ofa He Paea Vaioleti (Popa)

Niece of the bride and a bright light in our flower girl crew! Always smiling and full of grace, this smart and observant 8-year-old is learning what it means to care for her home and help her mama with love and responsibility. A young lady in the making. We are so blessed to have her be a part of our wedding day! 🌸

Fa’afetai Muli (Tai)

The oldest granddaughter of the groom and one of our beautiful flower girls. A talented young swimmer who stole her Papa’s heart the moment she entered the world and trust us, she can do no wrong in his eyes! With the bride as her Tutu, she knows she’s got the perfect team to get away with just about anything. We’re so excited and blessed to have her as part of our journey. 🌸

Amara Richardson

2nd Granddaughter of the groom and one of our lovely flower girls. She may be shy at first, but don’t let that fool you, she has the strong spirit of a young woman who knows what she wants and is determined to achieve it. Focused, fearless and full of heart, we’re so grateful to have her as part of our special day

Aaryn Richardson

The 3rd granddaughter of the groom — sweet, independent and full of sass! At just 3 years old, she knows what she wants (especially her chocolate mango ice cream!) and loves being around kids. She takes charge wherever she goes, and we’re so happy she’s part of our day! 

Nevaeh Richardson

Not only is she the groom’s cousin, she’s also been like a big sister to the bride from the start. Her eye for detail, bold personality and passion for planning make her the perfect person to keep our day running smoothly. But what truly sets her apart is the love she pours into it—especially for her “sissy,” the bride. We’re so grateful to have her leading the charge!

As many of you know, my father passed in Sept. 2021. In his honor, I’m proudly walked down the aisle by my son, Amani Carson. I’ve poured everything into raising him to be a king who loves deeply, honors his family and treats everyone with kindness. He’s currently a junior at UCLA, majoring in Civil Engineering building a future as strong as his character.

Meet the Mother of the Groom, Bobbie Richardson a woman of God from Mississippi. At 82, she cherishes life’s simple joys, from gift bags to trying new foods. Everything with her is done in decent & in order aligned with God’s Word. We’re so blessed to have her with us.

Meet the Mother of the Bride, Vasati Vaioleti, a faithful woman of God from the island of Samoa. A hardworking, loving mother, she taught us to give freely and from the heart. Her life motto: the more you give, the more you receive. We are so blessed by her love and example.
