Aly was eagerly awaiting the start of physical therapy school. She had grown greatly in her faith through spending time in Honduras, and she was excited to see what God would do next. Aly's mom wisely told her to hold off on dating until she started school just in case she met someone special in her class. Aly thought there was no chance of this in her small class of 27, but she listened anyway. Little did she know, God had big plans in the works!

Dylan was enjoying his summer with family and friends before starting physical therapy school, not knowing exactly what it would bring. A girl from his upcoming class that he had not met yet named Aly had messaged him on Instagram and they had a few conversations about the program, but he did not think that it meant anything at the time. God had some big surprises planned for him though!

After officially meeting in physical therapy school, we became part of the same friend group that would workout after school. We began studying together often as well and started to get to know each other.

After Dylan sneakily held Aly's hand during a scary movie he "coincidentally" chose to watch at a group sleepover, Aly hit him with the question, "so like are we gonna talk about this thing going on?" Shortly after we went on our first date, and Aly proceeded to reject Dylan when he asked her to be his girlfriend afterwards. Not to worry though! One week later, we went on this hike and then officially started dating.

The first year of PT school was a great opportunity to get to know one another as we spent lots of time together in class. We made many fun memories with each other and our friends, including playing lots of spikeball and studying for exams until it was so late that everyone was either laughing or crying.

We celebrated one year of dating with a bike ride to Bike in Coffee. It was a year filled with love and many fun adventures.

We had the trip of a lifetime in Honduras as Aly got to bring Dylan and other PT classmates along to Manos Chicas. We are excited to see where God calls us in the future to use our skills to help those in need!

Our relationship became deeper and stronger over our second year of dating. We further learned how to enjoy each moment with each other and trust God in every step.

After a little over 2 years of dating, Dylan decided that he wanted to marry Aly and spend the rest of his life with her. He started to talk to his parents, got an engagement ring, and sneakily asked Aly's parents for their blessing.

While in Colorado for clinical rotations, Dylan told Aly their friend Ben was coming up for the weekend to take some graduation photos. After the grad photos, Dylan told Aly they should take a picture with him on her back. Aly was waiting for Dylan to jump on when she turned around and saw him on one knee.

We finally finished the journey to become Doctors of Physical Therapy! We are beyond grateful for the immense amount of love and support we've been shown along the way by our family and friends. We know God is walking beside us as we begin this new and exciting chapter of our lives.
