The two of us met in 8th grade and Aly had a crush on Rogan ever since. He finally started coming around in our sophomore year World History class, and we started dating officially on April 6, 2014. We dated throughout the remainder of high school and graduated in 2016. Rogan was going to play football at Valdosta State University and Aly was off to Clemson University.

Then began the nearly 6 years of long-distance dating. When Aly tells the story it's a 6-hour drive between the colleges, when Rogan tells it it's 5 hours (but since Aly had to drive to and fro the most, we will go with 6 hours). Long distance has a lot of cons but we really learned the power of communication and it made us a stronger couple.

Aly and Rogan graduated college in 2020 amidst the pandemic. Rogan continued to play football at VSU until Dec 2020, then did a brief stint at Tusculum University in TN (where they won the conference championship), then played his final year at Western Carolina University in 2021. Aly moved to Charlotte, NC to start her career in Jan 2021, and Rogan has since joined her.

We are looking forward to getting married and starting our "forever" on our 10 year anniversary, April 6, 2024.
