What to Wear?
The wedding is Black Tie Formal and will also begin at a Catholic Church. For men, please wear a suit and tie. For women, please wear floor length dresses (exceptions can be made for young ladies). Please keep in mind the formal attire as well as the consideration for the Church.
Are there any attire restrictions?
While our gentlemen are allowed to wear white button-up shirts with their suits/tuxes, we kindly request that no women wear white, ivory, off-white, eggshell, or champagne attire (or any color of the like) as the bride will be wearing white.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm at the Cathedral. In order to avoid disrupting the Mass and Ceremony, please arrive no later than 1:30pm.
Will there be parking?
Yes! At the Cathedral there are multiple options for parking. There is a parking lot with limited space right next to the Cathedral. Street parking is available as well. If you prefer, you can also park across the street at the MAA Robinson parking garage. The first 2 to 3 floors are reserved for St. James Cathedral parking.
At the venue, there is a large parking lot at the estate that can hold around 90 vehicles.
Can I bring a plus one?
As much as we would love to have an endless number of guests, we unfortunately can't. Please reference your invitation for guidance. You can also reach out directly to the bride and/or groom to make a special request, however, we cannot guarantee that a plus one that has not already been accounted for will be added.
Are Children Welcome at the Wedding?
We truly wish we could invite all our guests' children to our wedding, however, due to restrictions at our reception venue we are only able to accommodate adults and the children of our immediate families.
Will there be food?
Yes! There will be food. When we send out the formal invitations, you will be able to choose which dish you would like to eat. If you have any food allergies, that will be the time to let the bride and groom know, so they can make accommodations. Hors d'oeuvres will also be served at cocktail hour.
Is there a registry?
Yes! The registry is a few tabs down from the Q+A tab. You can purchase gifts for them from there. There will also have a honeymoon fund that you can contribute to instead.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided. All guests will need to bring their own transportation or order an uber/lyft, if wanted. There is plenty of parking available at both the Ceremony and Reception locations.
Where can we stay the night?
The Bride and Groom have provided a list of hotels that are in the area of the wedding reception, which is in Winter Springs, as well as hotels in the downtown Orlando area. You can also choose to say at an Airbnb, depending on your preference. Winter Springs is very rural and residential, so there isn't much to do. If you are looking for things to do during your stay, an Orlando hotel will likely suit you best.
What time will the reception end?
The reception will end at 10:30pm. We kindly ask that guests leave at that time to permit the time for cleanup. If you would like, however, Orlando has tons to do for night-life excursions to keep the party going.
