Sam and Alysa met in September 2019 at Bryant University. After 4 days of knowing each other, Sam asked Alysa to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history! As the cliché goes, when you know, you know. The beginning of their story revolved around supporting each other’s sporting events, with Sam quickly becoming a volleyball expert and Alysa still confused about what exactly goes on at a track meet for 8 hours. After finishing their degrees in Rhode Island, the two moved up to New Hampshire with their fur-baby, Gravy. They spend sunny days at the beach or playing pickleball and are enjoying their journey eating their way through every restaurant in Portsmouth.&nbsp;

COLLEGE SWEETHEARTS

Sam and Alysa feel incredibly blessed with the life God has provided them with and are overjoyed to say "I do" soon. After nearly 6 years of love and laughter, they invite you to celebrate their lifelong commitment to each other in front of friends and family on May 10, 2025!

A mini taste of the Reading Terminal Market for those who choose to stay nearby the venue... and yes, they have Amish Donuts here, too! Important to note, they are only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays! Maybe a good place for a pre-wedding brunch!

Lancaster County Farmers Market

The perfect location for some fresh air, a nature walk, or a lazy drive with sunset views. Also happens to be the place where Sam asked Alysa to marry him!

Valley Forge National Historical Park

Center City!

The must-go place for foodies, famous indoor farmer's market offering diverse fare, housewares &amp; area specialties since 1893. We recommend Beiler's Donuts, a true Amish treat!

Reading Terminal Market

A picture with the Rocky statue is not a want, it's a need. Sam would say running up the Rocky steps blasting "Gonna Fly Now" might be more of a want (Alysa claims need on this one.) The museum was chartered in 1876 and holds many great works, and has free admission on Sundays!

Philadelphia Museum of Art

Check out Pat's King of Steaks for an authentic Philly Cheesesteak! Or venture across the street to taste rival Geno's take on the classic. Little ordering tip to sound like a Philly native: Cheesesteak with onions: "Cheesesteak wit" Cheesesteak without onions: "Cheesesteak witout" Let us know if you are team Pat's or Geno's ;)
