The first day we met was going to be my last day in Orlando. Alyse was working at little wine bar that happened to be our first stop downtown. She met up with us later that evening but to be honest I was a little intoxicated. Moving forward a bit, I ventured back to Orlando. On my first weekend in town Alyse and I ran into each other downtown again. The next day we chatted about how much we regretted drinking an absurd amount of Dude vodka.Over the next few months we realized we shared a love of good food, music and adventure. Friendship turned into fondness, fondness into affection until affection turned into love. One of our first dates was to Dave &amp; Busters and dinner at the Dessert Lady. Ya, we ate a 4 dessert sampler for dinner. That night I told her to be careful, because if you do something for 21 days it can become a habit. Needless to say we spent the next 21 days, 5 years and 3 months together. Finally she agreed to marry me! It took her long enough to ask!

How We Met

Our parents taught us that family and friends are the most important things a person can embrace. We wholeheartedly believe that our friends are our family. We are excited to have so many people join us on our special day. We are a reflection of the people we surround ourselves with. That being said it was important to us to have someone who knows us and has been there with us through many aspects of our life together. We choose Lori Luna, a person as close to family as one can be, to officiate our wedding.

There is so much to be said about my Maid of Honor/Bestie...and so much that can never be said out loud. He has easily been my partner in crime for the past 10 years (even though he has known B longer.)  I would share a fun story but my parents are reading this. I can share the story of this photo, a wonderful tattoo of my bestie passed out in the middle of the day at his bachelor party, that is beautifully tattoed on my soon to be husbands arm.

Traci and I have been friends for well over 15 years. We aren't exactly sure how long because the early years were filled with shenanigans on South Semoran. Over the years we have been there for each other during breakups &amp; tough times, but more importantly good times and adventures. Platonic is not a word that can describe our relationship, family is more appropriate. I am pretty sure my parents would trade me in for her in a heart beat.

Josh and I have been fortunate enough to travel the world together for work and fun. We are business partners, but more than that we are family. We have spent weeks on the road together, seen exotic lands, and found Irish pubs in some obscure parts of the world. Sometimes we spend so much time together we have a love hate relationship. I feel like if we would have met as kids we would still be friends 40 years later and I am certain we will still be in each other's lives 40 years into the future.

Living with her best friend from childhood Kristin became our unofficial third roommate and I've never looked back. She's always a phone call away but more than likely next to me getting in just as much trouble. When B and I first started dating we went down to Ft. Lauderdale to visit her, within 20mins of meeting him, she called it. She knew  6 years ago we would eventually get married and even though she called the Maid of Honor position, I know she's just happy to be standing next to be as a bridesmaid.

The E to my A, Elyssa and I met at work, shortly there after we moved in together. Over the years people would get our names mixed up and we would have to wait to hear what they were talking about to know who they were talking to. Especially that one night when Elyssa came home late from being out with friends, jumped into my bed and tried to wake me up, screaming Elyssa get up...I calmly told her I was Alyse and rolled over and went back to sleep. All I can hope for is that B marries the right one of us on Dec. 7th.

Mike is the guy I can always count on. He and I have a relationship in which we will drop whatever we are doing to help the other out. Mike would be my first call to bail me out and help me hide a…. We have built things together, traveled to places like Costa Rica and Las Vegas and caused trouble all across Florida. One thing is certain, we always look out for each other. Mike is the guy that taught me sometimes you need to double down on 12, even though the rules of the game and the pit boss may frown upon it, just for the thrill of it.

I can always count on Rob to make me laugh, though sometimes it may be at my expense. I am honored that he and his lovely wife Kristen were with us in Jamaica when I proposed to Alyse. They helped me make it a beautiful moment. Over the past 16 years we have laughed, drank, joked, gamed, worked and adventured together. We trust each other so much that Rob has considered eating some nuts just so I can do a Pulp Fiction and stab him in the heart with an epipen.

Stacey and I met years ago through mutual friends and over time I've realized just how much I needed this wacky dork in my life. She's answers all my questions about fictional worlds I've never encountered and is the best Harry Potter World tour guide. Whether it is singing along to the biggest hits of the 80s &amp; 90s, hanging out downtown at our favorite watering hole or just chilling on the couch randomly watching something on TV, I don't know what I would do without her.
