Our Story

September 24th 2019:For our first date, Corey was 15 minutes early to the restaurant. At this time, we didn't quite know each others' habits yet, so he had no way of knowing that Alysia would be 5 minutes late. Because he was there so early, the waitress began to worry he was being stood up. Corey kept assuring her, "she'll be here!", and when Alysia arrived the whole place seemed to breathe a sigh of relief for him. We had been texting for a couple of weeks but this was our first time meeting in person. We were both giddy and excited and there was that electric feeling in the air. We ended up talking the whole night through, staying until closing. We walked each other to our cars, both thinking "this one is special..."
