My Invitation

Can I bring a date with me?

We wish we could invite everyone; however we respectfully ask our guests to not bring a guest unless specifically named on their invitation.

Are my children invited?

We kindly request that our celebration be an adult affair. We look forward to welcoming guests aged 14 and older. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and look forward to celebrating with you!

Wedding Attire

What do I wear to the Welcome Dinner on Friday?

Dinner will be on the beach so think Destination or Resort Wear! Men should opt for a light-colored suit or dress slacks with a dress shirt, preferably in linen or lightweight fabrics, while women can choose a light, airy dress or a sundress.

What do I wear on Wedding day?

Please join us for an evening of celebration with a black-tie optional dress code. Men may wear a dark suit and tie or a tuxedo if preferred, while women can choose between a long evening gown, a dressy cocktail dress, or a formal jumpsuit.

Weather

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outdoors.

What weather can I expect?

January is one of the best times to visit Mexico, with beautiful weather and several attractions. With most regions experiencing mild temperatures, the weather in Mexico in January makes this area an ideal escape from winter elsewhere. January days are usually warm & sunny with an average high temp of about 82°. Most daytime highs are about 86°, but when a cold front comes through, it can drop to around 78° for a couple of days.

Transportation

How do I get to and from the resort?

We recommend booking a shuttle directly through the hotel, arranging a private transfer in advance through Tranfeero or other private transportation companies, or taking a taxi upon arrival at the airport. Taxis are readily available and you can simply pay when you arrive at the hotel. All of these options are reliable and easy to navigate.

Travel

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Yes! To enter Mexico, you must have a valid passport or travel document that is not expired, regardless of your nationality and how you're traveling. Mexico doesn't require a minimum passport validity period, but your passport must be valid for the entire time you're in the country. However, some airlines may have a six-month validity rule for passports, so you should check with your airline to ensure you're allowed to board. Some countries require a passport to be valid for at least six months after your trip's end dates

What airport do I fly into?

The nearest major airport is Cancún International Airport (CUN).

How far is the airport from the resort?

About 45 minutes

When should I arrive?

We chose a holiday weekend on purpose to give everyone some flexibility. You can check-in as early as January 12th and check-out as late as Jan 21st with the room block discount. The pool party Friday is more of a casual get-together, so if it works better for you to travel on Friday and just make it to the welcome dinner, that’s totally fine! No need to take both Thursday and Friday off — we know how valuable PTO is!

The Resort

Is this resort all-inclusive?

What if I choose to stay outside the resort?

How do I get around the resort?

The resort is massive. There are 24/7 shuttles ready to take you to any restaurant or amenity.
