If you are interested in coming to the wedding China, please email Derek. The ceremony will be held March 28th, 2026.Please note, you will need a passport and a visa. Our Wedding

Derek and Aly were neighbors in Chapel Hill in 2017. They met when Aly's dog ran up to Derek and his dog. After this, Aly went hunting on a certain dating app to find this charming neighbor. Luckily, she found him and they quickly scheduled their first date and Linda's in Chapel Hill. After a failed first date, they ran into each other again in 2018, and reconnected their spark. All along there was an invisible string. Flash forward to 2024, Derek took Aly to Paris on her birthday to see Taylor Swift. On Aly's birthday, during the song "Love Story", Derek got on one knee and gave Aly her dream proposal. In her replica of Taylor's "Midnight" bodysuit, it was the easiest "yes" Aly has ever said. We are so honored that you are joining us while we take the next steps in our journey.
