Mobile has its very own battleship! The USS Alabama was a battleship in WWII. Upon its retirement, Mobile students raised $50,000 in pennies to have the battleship brought over. You can explore the battleship, the USS Drum (a submarine), and the airplane hangar filled with retired military aircraft. A must see for any history buffs!
Since Mardi Gras started in Mobile, go on down to the Carnival Museum and learn all about Mobile Mardi Gras! The museum is also supposedly haunted so beware!
Again for all the history buffs… the History Museum of Mobile is one of Alyson’s favorites. Kevin loves being dragged there with her! Learn all about the history of Mobile.

There are multiple locations. Great for cheap, fast food. Mobile’s own version of Cane’s (but Kevin and Alyson will both tell you it’s better).

For anyone looking for a nice stroll through gorgeous gardens! Should be gorgeous and blooming!
Again great for the history buffs! Fort Condé was built in 1723. Also supposedly haunted!
So great for the little ones and enjoyable for adults too! A phenomenal science museum. One of Alyson’s favorite places to go as a kid.
