MEET THE MATRON OF HONOR & BRIDESMAIDS

RACHEL | Aly’s older sister and the matron of honor. Aly and Rachel have been together since the beginning, since Aly was a little girl trying to copy everything that she did. She’s the kind of person everyone thinks to call first when they need to vent, but also the kind of person everyone thinks to call first when they want to have a good time. When she's not running HR and doing tech-savvy things for Twitch, she's roasting seasonal vegetables and being an amazing wife to her husband Jilan and mother to her adorable baby Luke. Her and her husband bought a house outside of Philadelphia last year, and Aly and Aryeh are very happy to have them close by.

HANNAH | Hannah and Aly met back in summer camp and quickly knew they wanted to be friends forever. Luckily, they grew up only a few towns over and got to spend time together outside of camp growing up, and have made time to see each other almost every year since! Hanna's always been an incredible artist; she started her own company called Wake and Create, and will be traveling in from Baltimore.

JEN | Jen and Aly have been friends since they were little and their favorite thing was (and still is) staying up late having deep talks about what it means to be your best self in the world and relationships. She always says relationships are about being 100% so together you’re 200% and drumroll please….she’s the reason Aryeh and Aly met!! (Woot woot give it up for Jen!!) Jen and Aryeh became friends not too long after Aryeh moved to Philadelphia years ago, and Aryeh and Aly met during her wedding process. It’s so special seeing her now be a wonderful wife to her husband Nate, and wonderful mom to her gorgeous baby girl, Bella! Don’t forget to ask her about IFS (internal family systems) because it’s the coolest thing.

KRIS | Kris and Aly became friends on women’s retreat back in 2018. They have hung out in LA, Ocean City New Jersey, Philadelphia, and over FaceTime. She captures the essence of who people are through photography and videography. She's a certified death-doula, yoga teacher, and she studies herbalism.

LYNDSAY | Lyndsay and Aly met in philosophy class freshman year at Skidmore College, and ended up spending countless hours doing yoga in the library and taking walks in the woods. They worked on a farm together in Santa Cruz back in 2016 and then lived in Santa Cruz CA together during the pandemic, hiking a ton and quarantining by the ocean. She’s a musician, she’s almost a therapist (getting her master’s in social work at Columbia), and she's currently living in New York City.

MARTA | Marta and Aly have been friends since they were little, and her infectious laugh, sense of humor, and curiosity haven’t changed one bit! She’s adventurous, she’s witty, she’s an incredible doctor, and she knows how to put a smile on everyone’s face.

OLIVIA | Traveling all the way from LA, Olivia and Aly met in a child development and learning class at Skidmore College, and she’s continued to pursue her passion for helping others over the years, becoming a therapist and running mindfulness based summer camps for girls. Her and Aly used to spend a lot of time together when Aly lived in LA, but have since been sending voice notes back and forth almost every week to keep in touch.

SHANNON | Traveling all the way from Atlanta, Georgia, Shannon and Aly lived together in Salt Lake City UT and quickly became besties. She’s deep, she’s thoughtful, she’s also hard to have a conversation with without laughing so hard you can’t breathe. She’s currently working for a film studio based in Georgia, and before that worked several years as a Ski Patroller in Utah.

SHIRA | Shira and Aly grew up alongside each other, and although her mom taught Aly Hebrew growing up, they didn’t become close friends until they were both living in Los Angeles back in 2014. She’s an amazing yoga and meditation teacher, wife and mother to 2 gorgeous girls, and local to Philadelphia.

WINNIE | Winnie and Aly became close friends this past year and have had way too many moments to count of finishing each other’s sentences. She’s wise, she’s kind, she’s curious. She’s able to hold space for multiple different perspectives at once, thinks deeply about a lot of different things, and is one of the most empathetic people you’ll ever meet.

MEET THE BEST MAN & GROOMSMEN

Loden Cullar-Ledford | Loden is Aryeh's best friend and best man. They met 12 years ago during their first day of class at their alma mater, Ithaca College. Following graduation, Loden moved to Philadelphia, and soon after, Aryeh followed. Starting out, Loden found Aryeh his first job, which later evolved into them quickly working together on their startup, FilmUp. Loden and Aryeh were roommates for the last 8 years, working together on their business and taking in everything Philly has to offer. As of late, Loden has moved to upstate NY with his wife Devon.

Trevor Baynard | Trevor and Aryeh met back in elementary school when they were kids growing up in NY. Not only were they classmates, but they were also neighbors. They spent many years hanging out at each other's homes playing made-up games, making snow forts, and learning the ways of life. Following high school, Trevor went to college out in Rhode Island, and Aryeh in upstate NY, but they always kept in touch. So much so that Trevor was at Aryeh's graduation, not as a visitor, but participated in his graduating class festivities as if he were one of the students. Trevor still lives out in Rhode Island, and Aryeh in Philadelphia; however, their friendship has never faltered and only continues to strengthen over time.

Dylan Scott | Dylan and Aryeh met back at Ithaca College during Aryeh's Sophomore year, and Dylan's Junior year. Dylan, originally from Philadelphia, was known for being a DJ and sound mixing from his dorm room. As it so happened, Aryeh and Dylan were walking past each other on campus, when Aryeh asked Dylan if we would do some sound mixing for his student film. Dylan said yes and the rest is history. They spent many nights on the town making memories, getting into trouble, and making the most of their college years. Soon after, Dylan moved back to Philadelphia, where he, Loden, and Aryeh spent their formative post grad years together. Dylan currently lives in Berlin, Germany with his fiancé Fiona, and he will be flying in to attend the wedding!

Canon Brownell | Canon and Aryeh met back in their media production class led up by Professor Jerry Gambel. They instantly noted each other as they both had unique ways of explaining to others how to say their name. Canon would say his name is Canon, like the thing that goes boom! Aryeh would say his name is pronounced like the letters R - E - A. They collaborated on many film projects together, including the film Limbo, earning them an A+ in Jerry Gambel's class. Jerry was known for never giving an A+; this achievement for Canon and Aryeh led them to fame and fortune on campus... or at least in their own heads. Over their college years and beyond, they traveled the world together; Italy, France, and Canada, and road-tripping across the country three times. Canon ended up moving out to California to work in film and media. He currently still lives out there in his new home with his partner Erin and many local peacocks that wander the roads.

Shimmie Pesis | Shimmie and Aryeh both met many moons back on a trip to Poland through an incredible organization run by officiant Jon Earlbaum, The Chevra. On their Poland trip Shimmie noticed Aryeh had a seat open next to him on the bus and took a seat. Once back in Philly, they kept the friendship alive, spending many weekend summer days at Shimmie pools, attending events each others were having, and had some unforgettable nights out on the town. Shimmie currently lives out in Philadelphia and is known for being the number 1 dentist in town.

David DeCamp | David and Aryeh met back in college during their Sophomore year. They both lived in the same dorm building and eventually became roommates alongside some other friends from college. Over the years, Dave and Aryeh went from being roommates to becoming close friends. David made many trips out to Philadelphia to celebrate some of Aryeh's birthday parties, or just to reconnect. As of late, Aryeh served as a groomsman in David's wedding celebrating his marriage to his wife Sam. Now David is returning the favor.

Dylan Herman Dunphy | Dylan and Aryeh met their sophomore year, later becoming roommates alongside their other friends. Dylan, an avid rock climber, was often times out in the gym, yet he and Aryeh always found time to have meaningful moments over their college career. A fun memory is when Dylan invited Aryeh to his grandfather's and grandmother's house on the water out in Maryland, where they went fishing out on their boat, bike riding, and had a beer and late-night talks. Dylan later asked Aryeh to be a groomsman at his wedding, celebrating his marriage to his wife, Christiana. As of late, Dylan and Christinana have just welcomed their newborn into the world. They are both taking a night off to come and celebrate Aly and Aryeh's wedding.

Nate Whitehead | Nate and Aryeh met when Aryeh first moved to Philadelphia. There is a long-standing argument as to whether Aryeh met Nate or his now wife, then girlfriend, Jen, first. We still don't know to this day.. Other than being close friends, Aryeh officiated Nate and Jens's wedding, which is where Aly and Aryeh first met. Nate lives about 5 minutes from where Aryeh currently is in Philadelphia, and when he is not busy taking care of his newborn, they catch up and occasionally have a beer, talking about all that is going on in their lives.

Jack Roth | Jack is one of Aryeh's early childhood friends. They both first met back in 6th grade when all their respective elementary schools sent all their graduating 5th graders to the same middle school. Growing up, they were inseparable. Spending most days in Jack's basement playing Fifa or out playing sports, and occasionally getting into some trouble. Jack ended up going off to Michigan for college and moved to New York. Whenever Aryeh is in New York, Jack is the first person he calls, either to catch up or, more often, to crash on his couch.

Spencer Pereira | Spencer and Aryeh first met back in College during their Freshman year. During this time they were inseparable. Day in and day out, they spent almost all their waking moments together. People used to joke that they were identical twins. At a certain point, they had the same eating, workout, and general habits. Aryeh visited Spencer many times in his town of Nebraska and Spencer has made many trips to New York or Philadelphia. Although separated by many states, their friendship continues to grow and stand the test of time.

Alex Wallace | Alex and Aryeh met in their Freshman year of college during one of their math classes. They spent much of the time playing pool at the Ithaca Pub with Loden and having endless movie nights when they should have likely been studying for class. That said, Alex was always the top of the class and the smartest kid in the room. Alex was known as the curve breaker, as when everyone may be averaging a 70 on a test, he would be the one to have 103, even getting the extra credit. Alex unfortunately cannot attend the wedding as he is off defending our country, stationed in Europe as a United States Military Officer.
