It all started on August 16, 2023 in Howell, MI at Tap In’s. 
Alyson Smyth from Lansing, MI and Greggory Knappe from Clarkston, MI met for their first date. It was a no brainer decision on where to meet as they both enjoy all sports, are very competitive, and most importantly bleed green and white 💚🤍 
Both didn’t want the first date to end and it was evident early on that this could be the start of something special! Of course Mabel Grace (Gregg’s chocolate lab) had to give her paw of approval and luckily when she met Alyson she greeted her with one of her hugs. 


Gregg and Alyson enjoyed a lot of first experiences together including the lake house in Lexington, the cottage on Lake Michigan, MSU football and basketball games, holidays, a trip to Chicago, Amelia and Mitch’s gender reveal, golfing, and lots of family time. Their love only grew deeper as months went on and they learned more about one another. 

It all came full circle on April 13th, when Gregg and Alyson returned to Tap In’s and he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever together. Surrounded by the people most important in their life.
